I hate the "In Memoriam" segment of the Oscars cause they always rub me the wrong way with who they choose to conclude with.
I knew it was going to be Hoffman even though, I’m pretty certain everyone would agree, it should’ve been someone more prolific… i.e., Shirley Temple, Peter O’Toole, etc.
I think they should just omit that segment altogether… it’s just a popularity contest when we should just remember them all for their contributions to film.
