This scene is one of my favorite in any movie.  Superman meets Lois on her balcony for an interview.  Christopher Reeves plays this scene so well, I get goosebumps and start blushing when he is looking at her.  1:32….

Hashtagging 101 For Non-Twitter, Strictly Facebook Peeps

catalyticsenses:

OK, so instead of posting mellow-dramatic stuff, broadcasting on social media how miserable my life is (seems like posting stuff about personal issues people are remotely interested in is the new trend, in my country, at least), I decided to post…

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS?

2PM - A.D.T.O.Y 하.니.뿐. Compilation!

Beyoncé “Boss Lady” Knowles-Carter

These “dramatic” scenes from her mockumentary are sooo staged. Especially the Run the World debacle. There was no time to rehearse yet they were able to film her and her two dancers so they flowed seamlessly within the live performance? GTFOH.

She’s always telling people how to do their job in a way that makes it clear she doesn’t even understand it herself.

And I was too through with Gatson and his moment.

I like Ol’ girl but she be TRYIN’ IT.

Nelson Mandela hasn’t left us yet…

People are online acting like fools!

This Man is clearly near the end but rather than wait for his departure why don’t we celebrate his LIFE!

Put all of those FALSE idols you worship on the shelf for a moment and celebrate an actual HERO.

MANDELA!

Professor Hwang Chansung, and his thoughts about George Orwell’s 1984.
“1984” by George Orwell. A novel that talks about Too many South Koreans, the year of newspeak, thought police, doublethink, and Big Brother has arrived - not here but in the northern half of the Korean Peninsula. North Korean society today, they say, is much worse than the one the British author envisioned.

His thoughts after finishing the book…
“The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of Ingsoc, but to make all other modes of thought impossible. It was intended that when Newspeak had been adopted once and for all and Oldspeak forgotten, a heretical thought — that is, a thought diverging from the principles of Ingsoc — should be literally unthinkable, at least so far as thought is dependent on words.” From 1984. The Newspeak from this novel develops endlessly but changes the words very briefly so there can be no other expressions of the same meaning and erases words that may be connected to ideas other than the idea of Ingsoc. By confining the language people people were ostracized from anything other than the idea of Ingsoc. Then what about our ideas of today. Is there such thing as an absolute idea…? I do not think so. Ideas should be free. But let us not forget that expressions coming from free ideas have weight(responsibility) on them accordingly.
